Many jewelry organizations and more than 75 countries have agreed to the Kimberley Process — a certification that requires each shipment of rough diamonds be in a tamper-resistant container and accompanied by a government-validated certificate confirming that the diamonds were ethically mined in a non-conflict region. Any country declining to participate is barred from the international diamond trade. We insist that our Industry Sources adhere to the principles of Kimberley Process and we refuse to take advantage of any opportunities to circumvent that Process.
