This watch is one of the most iconic pieces from Omega and is now discontinued. It was part of all six lunar missions and was the first watch worn on the moon by Buzz Aldrin. It features a black dial covered by a domed scratch resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment, small seconds sub dial, 30 minute recorder and a 12 hour recorder with a central chronograph hand. The stainless steel case measures 42mm and has a black bezel, small seconds, a transparent back, and a tachymetric scale. The movement is mechanical calibre 1863 by Omega, a descendent of the legendary manual-winding movement worn on the Moon and is water resistant up to 50 meters. Accompanying the watch is a “NATO” strap (used by astronauts), a tool to change the bracelet, and a book highlighting the watches history. The warranty card, original box, outer box, and all accessories are included. This watch was manufactured in 2020.
