LASER INSCRIPTION
Immediate, positive ID you can see.
Most of our lab-certified diamonds are laser-inscribed with their certificate number,
and, at your request, can even be inscribed with the personal message of your choice.
We provide this service free of charge with every diamond purchase of 1.00ct and
above.
APPRAISALS
For ethical reasons, and to avoid any possible conflicts of interest, we avoid the
questionable, yet commonplace practice of appraising our own merchandise. It is
important that you always get an independent appraisal, and not one executed by
the actual seller. We define "Independent Appraiser" as a GIA trained gemologist/appraiser
who neither buys nor sells gems or jewelry, and who does not work on the premises
of, or work for a seller of gems or jewelry. There are not many truly independent
appraisers around, but a list can be supplied to you upon request.
INSURANCE
Jewelry Insurance is fairly reasonable in most cases, and may only be sold by a
licensed, state authorized agent. Beware of insurance policies offered by a jewelry
seller, as the fine print will likely reveal that you are not getting the kind of
all-risk coverage a real insurance policy company offers. At your request we will
supply you with information on reputable insurance companies.
